More than 100,000 people join the New York’s yearly Halloween parade. People come in costumes join hundreds of 53 different bands, puppets, dancers and artists, celebrities and many others.
It is a very exciting event as people get to dressed to their famous celebrities look. It is the time to let one’s inner movie star, zombie or oversized fruit express itself.
Between 6-7PM, anyone can join the 25-block procession, as long he/she/it is dressed up and shows up on Sixth Avenue between Spring and Broome Streets. Each year boasts a different theme, but you can still count on the classics: giant puppets, busty nurses, clowns on stilts, mustachioed Village People and a probably a few politicians as well.
