The known model for Cicely, Alaska is the town Talkneetna. The place is loacted at the downtown area and listed on the Register of Historic Places.
The place itself is so remote that you have to really plan on going there for you won’t stumble across it accidentally. Jet-boating is so popular with visitors where there are customed designed boats to enjoy the panoramas of the place. If you want to spend the night, you may want to take one of the rooms in Roadhouse in the “Beautiful Downtown Talkeetna.”
