The Mason-Dixon Festival is held in the middle of September each year. The Mason-Dixon Festival of Morgantown celebrates the area’s beautiful history. The festival marks the arrival of the Gateway Clipper, which travels from Pittsburgh on the Monongahela River and docks at Riverside Park. Over the weekend a number of different races are held and people can enjoy doing arts and crafts sales.
This year Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park is hosting the Mason-Dixon Festival which will happen on September 14th, 15th & 16th, 2007 to celebrate 21 years of bringing family
fun and entertainment to the Morgantown area.
