The newly-restored Battle House Hotel which was built in 1852 by James, John and Samuel Battle, is now opening again for the first time after 30 years. It has 238 rooms with 31 suites.  It’s now an excellent place to hold meetings and reception with 27,000 square feet of meeting spaces.

The Battle House Hotel was destroyed by fire in 1905.

Now the recreation of the hotel is a part of the Retirement System of Alabama’s re-energizing downtown hotels and tower project.
