The 51st annual Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Science and Engineering Fair and the Thomas A. Edison Inventors Fair will be held on January 26, 2008, Saturday from 12PM to 4:30PM at the Harborside Convention Center in Florida.
The event is sponsored by the Florida Power and Light and will be free for all who are interested to join event. The fair’s previous projects which were contributed by the Science Fair and Investors Fair will be showcased during the event. Such inventions include:
- waistband threader
- mosquito trapper
- wet awake
- sleep safe couch belt
- ants-b-gone dog dish
- the manatee locator
The Inventors Fair Awards Program will happen on the 28th of January next year and will be free for all too. The awards program will be held at the Edison Park Elementary School at 7PM while the Science Fair Awards Program will be on the 30th at the Alico Arena at 7PM and is also free.
