Get on a charter whale-watching cruise so you can see the Orcas up close and personal.  The fee costs $50.00 per head and that is for the full 4 hours of excursion.  There are a lot of cruises that leaves the Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, from Deer Harbor on Orcas Island and from a few other smaller anchorages.

For 4 hours you will be inspired by the giant white and black creatures that surfaces the boat and if you are lucky, you may as well glide through a pod where there are several black and white hulks blowing spray and huffing beside the boat.
