Have you tried going with a bird-watchng tour group?  They say that people in Chicago are like spoiled little ones.  In this place all you have to do is sit back and relax and the birds will just come near you for you to see them and enjoy their beauty. 

The birds usually come during spring and fall in the most urbanized areas of the America.  Chicago can provide one of the most impressive places to do bird-watching like the following:

  • Montrose Point
  • Illinois Beach State Park
  • Goose Lake Prairie State Natural Area
