
Delaware is also the home of art and another museum that features the best works of still life, American illustration and landscape painting is the Brandywine River Museum.
Brandywine River Museum is the home of the 19th century collection of art. On November 18 they will have the exhibit called the “Flights into Fantasy: The Kendra and Allan Daniel Collection of Children’s Illustration.” It will show the famous works of 19th and 20th century illustrators like:
Entrance fee is at $8 for adults but senior, students with valid school ID and kids from 6-12 ages only $5. Brandywine Conservancy members and kids under 6 years old are admitted free. Audio tours charge $3 each.
