Established in 1916, the Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park is scenic beauty and a place to view history. The place is clothed with 70 million years of migration, volcanism and evolution. The whole park stands on a 333,000 acres of land. Most part of the park is left to nourish its natural beauty and wilderness. The maintained dramatic landscapes are a good view when camping and during hiking.
You can get to the Hawai`i Island via Aloha, Go!, Hawaiian, Island Air, and Mokulele Airlines. There are also rental cars available at both Hilo and Kona International airports.
