For some, ghost hunting is one fun and adventurous activity. The Myrtle’s Plantation in St. Francisville, Lousiana spells trouble. For one, it was built on top of a cemetery and rumors say that there were ten murders that have happened in the place.
The house was built by General David Bradford 210 years ago (1796). Now it has become one of the tourist hot spots in the country. Among the special features you will experience during the visit are:

The historical tours are conducted everyday from 9 AM to 5 PM but if you wish to join the mystery tours, then you should come during evenings of Fridays and Saturdays. Bed and breakfast reservations are given the complimentary tour of the whole mansion. You’ll see the Carrera marble mantles and gold leafed French furnishings, hand painted stained glass, open pierced plaster frieze work, the architectural significance of the mansion, Baccarat crystal chandeliers and the Aubusson tapestries.
