
You’ve been to countless gas stations but ever been to the Petroleum Museum? Yeah, there is such a thing! The place welcomes you with two grasshoppers right in front of the museum. The Petroleum Museum houses the largest collection of historic oil retrieving machine.
The museum is fully air conditioned. It has three halls that tells the history of the place. The big black and white photograph of the Saint Rita #1 is one of the most impressive artifacts in the museum.
The oil drill which was invented by Howard Hughes is placed inside the technology hall. It all started the future drill designs. There are also tools showed like the rod elevators, the tubing crummies, Geronimo escape devices, and crow’s feet.
