The Garden of the Gods is a beautiful 1392-acre (563-hectare) public park and a Registered National Natural Landmark located only minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. The area is filled with striking sandstone formations with a nice view of Pikes Peak. The Garden of the Gods has a visitor and Nature Center which are both free of charge. The area is a great place to explore the outdoors as a hiker, mountain biker, or rock climber. The place provide guided walks and horseback rides to visitors who want to explore the place more. It is also a favorite scenic wedding location among Americans because of its breathtaking beauty that captures emotions at different times of the day.
