The Hells Canyon Scenic Byway separates Idaho from neighboring Oregon. The view of the byway is really beautifyl with towering cliffs of black and green basalt. The place offers a guided tour to the Hells Canyon National recreation Area where you can have a day to six days of trip.

Exact location: Hells Canyon Road from Oxbow Bridge near Copperfield, Oregon, north along the Idaho side of the Snake River to Hells Canyon Dam.

The summer months are the best months to visit the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway attraction. You can see the tribes like Bannock, Cayuse, North Paiute and Shoshone frequently visits the Canyon dam and the dramatic part of the Snake River.
