If you are really a whale lover then why not try experience joining the Northern Whale Study.   It’s a 10 day adventure in the orcas of northern Newfoundland and southern Labrador.  The place is rich in wildlife with the most amazing scenes of America’s marine areas.  The 10 day package is a time for wild days, serene nights, and an experience of the earth’s most dramatic nature scenes.

Day 1 Arrive Deer Lake, Newfoundland (YDF)
Day 2 Travel to L’Anse au Clair
Day 3 Visit the 1540s World Whaling Capital, Red Bay
Day 4-6 Coastal boat trips searching for humpbacks, orcas, and other whales.
Day 7 Adventure departs Labrador for the St. Anthony, Newfoundland area and our local hotels.
Day 8 Depending on the sea conditions and local reports, explore the dolphin and humpback rich areas around St. Anthony and the Grey Islands local tour boats.
Day 9 The last day of expedition will likely see more moose and caribou than whales as tourists leave northern Newfoundland for the charming Glynmill Inn in Corner Brook.
Day 10 Depart from Deer Lake airport.
